About the family
Vila Paleka is our family home in Žerava, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast — not a managed rental someone checks in on from a distance.
Our family home
We live right next door, and we host every guest ourselves. During your stay we try to stay out of the way and let you have the place to yourselves — but we're always reachable directly if you need anything, from arrival directions to a recommendation for dinner.
Alongside the villa, we grow our own olives and press our own olive oil, and make wine and grappa/rakija from the property. If you're curious, we're always happy to share a taste — there's also a small shop on-site where you can buy some to take home.
We built our approach to hosting around what we'd want as guests ourselves: a real, direct line to the people who own the place, not a call center or a property-management app.
